Meet your CFO

Christopher Umbach CPA has been providing accounting and tax services for more than 20 years. Chris worked for over a decade for a Big Four accounting firm, consulting for multi-million and billion dollar clients. He also worked as a Controller in the Construction Industry for a multi-state, 8-figure wholesale/distributor. He earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Miami University, while obtaining a Master’s of Taxation degree from the University of Cincinnati.

Christopher Umbach CPA started the Fractional CFO service business because we realized many small to medium sized business were being under-served when it came to increasing and improving cash flow and profit, as the main focus was completing periodic accounting and tax compliance service needs, like most traditional accountants, book-keepers and CPAs.

Chris grew up in Ohio and has spent the last 10 years living and working out West, practicing in Arizona, California and beyond. Travel is one of Chris’ favorite hobbies and interests, which include his love to explore the great outdoors through hiking, biking, kayaking and camping.  Let’s figure out a path together to get you more time and money to do what you love and enjoy!
